Washington D.C.America’s Radio News Network (ARNN) announces Jay Alan who is co-anchoring ARNN’s The Drive Home news block, airing from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. ARNN delivers non-partisan, fast paced, co-anchored, long form live news coverage from Noon to 9 p.m. EST, providing 9 hours of live back to back radio news programming to affiliates nationwide. 
Jay Alan has extensive radio broadcasting experience as host and anchor, spending five years as an award-winning radio host on News/Talk 1530 KFBK, Sacramento, CA where he received the Edward R. Murrow Award. Alan has also anchored on many News/Talk stations across the nation including: KSTE, Sacramento; KNEW, San Francisco and KTAR-FM Phoenix, AZ, and also has anchored programs which were nationally syndicated. 
 
Co-Anchor Jay Alan of The Drive Home is not just experienced in radio broadcasting he also comes to ARNN with considerable experience anchoring on TV newscasts and was the lead TV news anchor on FOX 40 KTXL, Sacramento, CA; KPHO-TV, Phoenix, AZ and WSET-TV, Lynchburg/Roanoke, VA, where he also was Managing Editor. Alan co-anchored TV newscasts for many TV stations including: KTVB-TV, Boise, ID; KREM-TV, Spokane, WA. and WSAW-TV, Wausau, WI. 
 
Alan’s most recent position was as the Director of Communications for the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) and Deputy Director for the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security (OHS) which he held since 2007. Prior to this, Alan was Director of Communications for the California Conservation Corps, and served on other California State Boards including the Homeland Security Advisory Board. He has taught Crisis Communications at the University of California where he taught the course to many of California’s elected officials. 
 
Jay Alan is a graduate of Dordt College in Sioux City, Iowa where he graduated with a B.A. in Communications.

America’s Morning News (AMN), airing from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. EST Monday through Friday is another 3-hour long-form all-news program option, presented by The Washington Times (TWT) and Talk Radio Network Entertainment (TRN-E). ARNN’s programming blocks combined with AMN makes a full 12 hours of back to back, weekday long-form news programming available to affiliates nationwide. AMN now airs on over 120 affiliates, with 15 of those in the top 30 markets, including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Washington D.C. and Seattle. 
 
ARNN is also anticipating the launch of an additional 3-hour news block before year’s end. That news block, combined with ARNN’s news blocks already airing, and TRN-E’s and TWTs’ AMN, will then provide 15 hours of back to back syndicated long-form co-anchored news to affiliates across the nation, many of which may be considering ARNN’s turnkey all-news syndicated programming solution.
