ARNN Announces Another 3-Hour News Block Starting July 25th ‘Mid-Mornings Live with Ernie Brown’

America’s Radio News Network and TRN Entertainment

to Field 15 Hours Per Day of Long-Form News Programming

Washington D.C. America’s Radio News Network (ARNN) has announced the launch of yet another 3-hour daily all-news programming block, starting July 25th, 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (9:00 a.m. to Noon, Eastern Time). Combined with TRN Entertainment's “America’s Morning News” and ARNN’s other programming, that provides 15 hours of contiguous long-form news daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time, live five days a week.

ARNN’s latest installment “Mid-Mornings Live with Ernie Brown” will feature Ernie Brown. He remarked that “America’s Radio News Network finally provides radio news reporting delivered without a left or right slant, with just the facts guiding the story. I am happy to be reporting to you live from Washington D.C. and anchoring for ARNN.” He continues by saying, “It’s a complicated world in which we’re living, and it seems every day things get even more complex. It’s great to be part of ARNN and I’ll strive to provide more in depth news coverage to help everyone understand the issues and how they may affect us all.”

“We cover 10 to 12 stories with 4 to 6 audio actualities each quarter hour – the perfect PPM solution for an A.D.D. world. Stations love the long-form news product so much they are asking for more of it sooner. We are frankly stunned by the demand!” says Mark Masters, CEO of America’s Radio News Network and its representative, Talk Radio Network Syndications, Ltd.

ARNN’s Brown is a true veteran broadcaster with over 32 years experience in radio broadcasting in many major markets in the U.S., including: Seattle, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Cleveland and Las Vegas. Before joining ARNN, Brown spent 7 years as a morning talk host and newscaster on Newsradio 1080 KRLD Radio in Dallas/Ft. Worth. He also was the host of America at Night, a nationally syndicated, late-night talk program, and spent 5 years as morning and afternoon host at KOMO News/Talk 1000 in Seattle.

Brown began as a newscaster and anchor in Texas, on a nightly news radio show which aired statewide. He continued in news radio with KOMO, Seattle, where he anchored both a morning and an afternoon news radio program.

John McCaslin, ARNN’s Executive Vice President, News and Programming, says, “Ernie Brown and I began our broadcast careers at just about the same time, although to his credit he's sat behind more microphones, in more major markets, than the majority of broadcasters on-air today. Ernie’s wealth of experience as a news anchor is evident in his daily ARNN broadcasts. You can cite virtually any topic and Ernie can and will expand like nobody else.”

America’s Morning News (AMN), presented by The Washington Times and Talk Radio Network Entertainment, is another 3-hour long-form all news program. The highly successful AMN morning news show has over 120 markets, and 15 in the top 30, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Seattle. America’s Morning News airs live Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., Eastern Time.

With the additional 3-hours of daily ARNN programming, stations can now broadcast 12 hours of live radio news back-to-back, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Eastern Time, and, for those markets where AMN is not already taken, America’s Morning News could be added for another 3 hours of live news 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., for a total of 15 live hours a day.

“WTNT 730 AM is proud to carry America’s Radio News Network Monday through Friday live from the Nation’s Capital. Positive comments about the program are flooding our phone lines. Our listeners like the fast pace of the news, the number of stories covered each hour and the professional delivery of the co-anchors. America’s Radio News Network is a winner!” says Bruce Houston, President, Metro Radio, Inc.

America’s Radio News Network’s live news blocks continue to remind industry insiders that radio still has the ability to provide the most up to date breaking news coverage, as it happens, to Americans nationwide. The syndicated news shows have quickly become radio’s “go to” programs for news as it happens. ARNN and America’s Morning News have established a “win-win” relationship with others in the industry by providing their content and special reporting features free of charge to other news organizations, providing that they credit or source the information or story to America’s Radio News Network or America’s Morning News, as applicable. By networking with other news media and sources, America’s Radio News Network and America’s Morning News provide listeners the first truly objective long-form radio news only programming in the United States.

Masters continued, “With all of the life changing events in this world, the likes of which we haven't seen since WWII, our affiliates are telling us that this level of high quality non-partisan news product is a must have, especially from a “safe buy” revenue perspective. We have never seen affiliate demand like this for any other program .”
